TRIBUTES have been paid to a well-known South Ockendon man who died following an operation at Basildon Hospital.
Steve Merrill, 53, passed away on Father’s Day. It’s believed he suffered a haemorrhage after undergoing an operation for bowel cancer the week before.
Mr Merrill was well-known in Thurrock for his wedding video business, his time compering and DJing at the Circus Tavern, and his regular appearances as a contestant on the BBC TV show Robot Wars.
Erg treurig nieuws.
Mvg,
Leo van Miert
